Lottie & Alfie

For family sessions, sometimes things don't go quite as planned.  Kids are shy, tired, not quite sure what's happening, or purely just don't want a bar of anything other than doing what they want to do.  I'm sure you know what I mean.  So sometimes to the Parents, the session can seem anything but lovely and relaxing, more like chaotic, crazy and not quite what they'd imagined.

But let me say this, after having 3 beautiful babes of my own, I know that things don't go as planned, the kids can be the exact opposite of what we want them to be.  But in those moments, it's like little treasures are hidden, split second moments of smiles, laughter, that can be captured on camera.  And that's what I love.  What I really love to do.  Capture those beautiful moments amongst the busy and craziness that Parent's may not always think are there.

For this sweet session it was kind of like that.  It didn't quite go as any of us planned, it may not have looked 'perfect' if you had of looked at us in this location, but my goodness, I LOVED it! I loved knowing that there were glimmers of smiles, there were sweet moments of comfort and caring, that were utterly beautiful, and I got to capture them.

And the end result was this beautiful session, that it is one of my favourites.  I love the tender moments of the family together, the sweetness of Lottie in Daddy's arms, and darling Alfie being cradled by Mum.  All precious, beautiful moments that were captured.  Divine moments that they can now hold onto and treasure forever.  And this is why I LOVE my job! Enjoy! xx
